Patient preference information can help identify features of interventions that are most important to patients and assess the relative importance of treatment benefits and risks to patients. Patient preference information is increasingly being accepted and used by decision makers in the regulatory environment worldwide. This session will provide an overview of the range of patient preference information, methods for eliciting and measuring patient preferences and provide examples of how patient preferences can be applied in practice and regulatory decision making.
