Osteoarthritis and Cartilage (OAC) strives for the highest methodological standards in its published research. As a step in this direction, the OAC requires that all manuscripts to be published in the journal undergo statistical review. The experience of statistical review may be new to researchers and may mean new challenges in the preparation of manuscripts. Thus, in this session, the deputy editors and a statistical reviewer will discuss the aims and means of statistical review at OAC, with time for questions from the audience. We hope to boost an even more efficient and satisfactory relationship between researchers and the journal in our common strive for better research within OA.
